Pictured at left is Manhattan in forward tilt position.

The expandable mast and all trays move up and down using the Slide Guide System.

For acrylic or oil painting use easel straight up and down.  For pastel work, use the forward tilt.

To tilt easel forward, loosen the Slide Guides on back support legs, pull easel gently forward to desired angle and tighten.  To tilt expandable mast, use Slide Guides on that section in similar manner.
